It was a calm morning. Blue skies, three friends sitting at a café terrace, hearts light and carefree. Then, an elderly woman approached—frail, yet radiant.
She didn’t ask for anything for herself. Instead, she offered a blessing—for me.
She lifted her hands toward the sky and, with absolute certainty, said:
“Oh Lord… grant him a castle in paradise.”
And suddenly, the invisible became visible: a beam of light shot upward, swift as lightning.
Not a feeling, not a vision—we all saw it. The three of us. At the same time.
But the miracle wasn’t us.
It wasn’t in our eyes.
It was in her faith.
Her prayer was so pure, so full of faith, that it pierced through the veil of the unseen and showed us something usually only God can witness.
That day, I understood:
The power of a prayer doesn’t come from the ones who witness it—
but from the one who prays.
When someone prays with wholehearted, unwavering faith, their prayer becomes light.
It travels through the heavens, and sometimes—by grace—it becomes visible to others.
Just to remind us: God truly listens.
